Are semi decent train horns accessable for cheap, 200 ish?

im playing around with the idea of a train horn...but i dont see it being worth it paying more than like 200...maybe 300 tops for a good used kit. Are there any good stuff out that used would be in that price range...or is it mostly the jensen equivalent in that price range?

What brands or stats should I look for or stay away from....?

you don't know how many people you can tantalize mercilessly until you try them. BUT i wouldn't advise honking them at the elderly

yeah i got my kit for 200 and its **** loud! little 1g tank with compressor and two chime horn for 200 shipped on the bay

where do you have your horns mounted? i wannt put them somewhere tucked away in my engine compartment...but obviously htere's some space limitations....and i dont want to have them under the car sticking out at all since i tend to curb chuck and scrap the under carriage from time to time lol....

i saw some on google shopping for like 85-90 shipped for a 115 to 130db setip...wasnt sure if that'd be enoiugh..i mean its loud but is it scare a mother ****** silly loud?

I have 3 Klein horns mounted to a 7 gallon portable air tank that I take to my sons football games.

just get a hornblaster setup. I will edit with a link. As for mounting, I normally mount the horn blaster setup behind the grill. Not to hard to make some brackets and bolt it in.

i agree...like my stereo i would try not to abuse the horns much. i really just want it for when someone cuts me off or does something ******* stupid on the road...
