Are Rockford Fosgate Punch 25 to Life's Banned from comps?

have you downloaded the amp list and rating sheet?
Yup, I compete in Usaci somewhat regularly. Theres quite a few thing that need to be updated on their website. I will look see if I can dig up the amp rating/rerating thing on their forum if you are interested.

well i have a couple amps that are listed as follows. i didnt use them yet but here ya go.

cadence z1200 hc, the list as 50w and at 1 ohm it does 1200

crossfire 15hc rated at 30w, do about 500 at .5 ohm st or 1ohm bridged.

i have two of the 15hc amps. plan on using these three on an install to give me 120w rated for the three.

So according to new rules dd m3 is illegal in 0-600 because
2700/4 is 675watts
If that is a published rating by DD that it does 2700 watts at 1 ohm on 14.4v then yes that would be correct. That is the method they have adapted to for various reasons.

The cadence amp would be bumped to a 300 at 4 ohm rating due to the 1 ohm rating.

The crossfire throws me for a loop because i forgot how its handled with a 2 channel amp if they go by the mono rating or stereo which sometimes doesnt change the end result regardless.

Either way using the three of them would put you in 601-1800 being thats the first class that allows 3 amps. 0-600 only allows one amp.

yes i forgot about the 3 amps, i can use 1 of the 15hc and z1200 though.

Im guessing you mean one of the 15hc OR the z1200?

And whoever mentioned the DDm3 earlier if I remember correctly that amp was protested cant remember what came out of it. If you would like I can dig it up.

you can have two amps, one for subs and one for highs.

They might let you do that up there, but if you read the class matirx it states under amplifier quanity one. Granted if its a local sho the judge might let it slide especially if the othe ramp is on highs, but at regional or multi point events they make you sitck to the rule and will have you pull the amp to the highs, some settle for just removing the fuse others make you pull the amp from the car.

Its about 15 pages of readin but the first page sums it up pretty well.

although when you look on the rerated amp list its not listed so they might have gone back to the 30% tolerance instead of the 20% they started off with this new testing company.

DD

----- DD M1 400 watts 07/18/2006

----- DD Z1 1725 watts 09/21/2007

that sall thats listed under DD so again I could be wrong on this one, makes me wonder why more werent used at finals
