Has anyone actually tried any of the amps from this company?? I wanted to purchase a 5000 or an 8000 but I don't want to be the guinea(sp) pig. It seems that some people are starting to test the 8000 and they are not bad.

you won't be the first to use Soundigital I've talked to Mun and was gonna get an 8k but they won't rate for crap in USACi for the lower classes so I passed.

Yes i know i wouldnt be the first, but i haven't seen much posted as far as testing. Just waiting till theirs a little more hard data out there. It seems like pretty solid company. And price is pretty high. They are from brazil and Muri says that he will be setup in canada soon and they have a north american repair house set up. I have heard a lot of good things about those banda amps. I like to try different things when it comes to equipment.

I'm not trying to bash the company or anything but I know somebody who bought 2 of their 8k's and when they arrived they had hardly any packaging and were busted. The company said that they would give him 2 brand new one's and pay (I think) 1/2 the shipping costs to return the broken one's back. They sent him out another 2 and they also both arrived busted. I don't know if they're just getting busted through shipping or maybe it's a bad batch. The power results on termpro are pretty impressive and I heard that the 8k's are the size of my 2k6d.

In terms of footprint and power the tests and reviews I have seen are all good.

But they are relatively new to South America, let alone the US. Thats probably why shipping was so horrid. They are new to the scene especially the north. If you look through south american db drag results, more and more people are winning with soundigital every year, so they are starting to expand down there. The owner IMO sounds a little more eager and professional than the reps I've seen from stetsom. But thats all personal opinion.

I wouldn't say they are a crap company because their stuff got damaged shipping. that happens to every company. Atleast they tried to take care of it, but PACKAGE the **** things lol.

I dont know if I'd buy one quite yet, but I guess I'll wait and see.

I think they are releasing a 12k soon
