Are Gold-Line SPl Meters Accurate?

never heard of them. what setup do you have that you would "need to be over 150DB's?" a termlab is your best bet. they cost a lot of money and isn't practical to buy unless you are a true competitor.

Arent those older meters made by audiocontrol?

Its not necesarily that one meter is more accurate than the other, its just the consitancy.

The termlab will read consistantly everywhere. Take it apart and re-assemble it will still read the same.

But the Ac 180.........

Changes with everything.

A termlab is around 600 shipped.

Not too bad for what you get.

Well this meter read consistently all throughout my SUV except it peaked on my dash. But i went to their website and they have been making SPL meters and analyzers since 1961 so i guess they know what they are doing. With them being around that long i can't believe nobody has heard of them. http://www.gold-line.com
