Re Sx 15"

It wont be as loud as it could be... but itll make a sound.. It will sound decent but not nearly as good as it has the potential to sound.

The people who say they run 1300-1400 to these - ported. Is this in competition only? Do people really run that much power daily with music? I have lots of front stage and I send 60v @ 50hz 0db ~ 900 watts to each of my Avalanches sealed and they can easily overpower the fronts.

Ok, well, i'm not planning on doing that anytime soon anyways, thats y i'm wondering if i should be building a bigger box ported for less power? Or will i just be better off building a bigger sealed box for less power?

Yes, mine is daily. I run 1400 watts rms to my SX 15. If you have some nice Components that are powred by an amp then they set it off right.

i run 1300 daily to mine in a big box and it sounds great and get's hella loud...

BUILD A BIG BOX! i'd say 4+ cubes if you are only running 600rms to it... should still get loud just not as loud as it could...

Ah, I see.. so you are only running 1 at that power. If you were running two with that much power to each, I'd say there is something wrong with your hearing.
