so in the 200 range what would be the best
Whatever you feel sounds good...CDT's tend to sound good where ever you stick them without much work, but may not be the most sonically accurate. I was reading something and they feel significantly around 16khz, which for most people would not be the end of the world. That is a good deal on the ef cfs, but those need power, and lots of it, so i'd hope you have a powerful amp to drive them.

You may want to try and find a dealers for just about anything postedin this thread and go listen to the speakers yourself and see which you prefer.

would an alpine type x be better
I didn't check the specs on that kicker, but I'd assume it has plenty of power.

The Type-x's are nice speakers but they have a few flaws. First their midrange is enourmous, if this is going in a door you are going to have a hell of a time getting it in there. I also did not care too much for the tweeter. The CDT's would probably be great for you as long as you give them t he power.

and as far as a capacitor i am sorry i am new to all this i will have a jbl bp1200 mono and a kicker kx650 4 channel what size and how much should i spend

Don't need one, hence spend nothing on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
