i hate my store.

plus the thought of all those little bastards opening up a 360, or ps3 in this case, christmas morning and hooking it all up just to have it not work makes my peepee tingle.

Oh man that sounds interesting, i wonder why so many 360's had problems. Did u have help doing this?

only if bought them from my store. actually we break a ton of things for stress release but the game systems bring alot of enjoyment.

I understand how all these things happen with UPS or fedex working on a loading dock for over a year now though.

Yea i work for UPS and there is a company that send flouresent bulbs through UPS. I dont know y but they do. Every single box with those bulbs are broken, you can hear it when your loading them. Yea UPS sux they dont care about anything just gwet your job done by loading or unloading

i thought halo 3 was going to be released in 07? maybe i'm just crazy..

but gears of war comes out november (HOPEFULLY). was supposed to be released in march but they keep pushing the date back.

i'll be getting a ton of overtime in the next couple months so i'm sure i'll have the money for one very soon. tehe. (a ps3 that is).

the ONLY thing that pisses me off is that the xbox360 will only play a SELECT FEW 1st gen xbox games whereas the ps3 is compatible down to the 1st generation games.

that's what alot of people are gonna turn away from xbox. but then again halo 1 and 2 are playable and halo 3 will be coming out on 360. viva microsoft.

Xbox 360 vs. PS3

360: All games 720p

PS3: Almost all games will be 720p due to the fact that rendering at 1080p will need ~30-40% more processing power to achieve an effect that only less than 1% of the market can take advantage of. (owning 1080p tvs-wise)

Blu ray is the only reason the ps3 did not release around the same time as the 360. Both the high and low versions will have blu-ray as standard.

Microsoft will be releasing a HD-dvd player add on. It will only play HD-DVDS, no games will be created/put on HD-dvds.

PS3 and 360 are very similar as far power is concerned. PS3 may have a slight advantage when it comes to physics, 360 may have a slight advantage when it comes to texturing and shading.

Sony has been touting the fact that blu-ray is key to next gen to store all of the game media.... 360's dvd capacity is 9gb... no game has yet to exceed 4.5 GB on the 360. As new games become more efficient, file size can be reduced with lossless compression.

Anyway, end of rant.

360 = 2nd gen of games launching november.

PS3 = launch titles november.

Pick up a ps3 if you've got a 1080p TV and are dying to watch HD movies on it.

Pick up a 360 if you want better quality 2nd year games + superior online play.

That makes sense. I'll probably be picking up a 360 and a bunch of games this holiday season, since the prices will most likely drop to counter the PS3 launch. The only reason I wanted to know how to get a bunch of PS3 is to resell them on Ebay. You know there will be people out there willing to pay at least twice the price since it will be so scarce at launch.

yes, halo3 is suppost to come out in 07.

select few? there are over 200 games that can be played on the 360.
