Aquiring PS3's on the launch date?

How would one go about buying several PS3's on the launch date? Is your only chance to have an inside source at Sony? Or must one hijack a Best Buy truck?

Probably hijacking a BB truck would be ur safest bet of getting one on launch date... or camp out at BB for weeks on end

Most likely will be $599 for it and it should be backwards compatible with PS2 games. I'm sure there will be exceptions though, as always.

im getting one for the sheer fact that its a blu ray player. and i figure blu ray players cost 500-1000 anyway. so why not?
