aquarium help... Please

I've got a 55 gallon tank and I just swaped my old ugly gravel with freshwater aquarium sand. The white kind. I wrinsed it and everything. Now all the waters in the aquarium with everything but the fish. And the waters is just soo cloudy. Is it supposed to be like that? Will it go away? Thanks

since the water is already in you just have to wait, but next time you use sand put a plate in the tank on the sand and when you pour water pour it on the plate and you will have little to no cloudy water at all..also dont use your filter to try to clear it out you will get your power filter cloged(sp) up with sand

that prob would of helped a little. But it looks like all the sand has settled down, its just the water looks milky. Or could it b little sand particles?

yes you need your tank to cycle, if you dont want to wait go to the fish shop and ask for something called quick cycle i believe..its supposed to take in only 24 hours to cycle your tank..but make sure the shop keeps it cold..if its on the shelve dont buy it, its supposed to be in a cooler..

Yeah bro, if you change all of your substrate your good bacteria is gone, and nothing is left to fight the bad stuff... You can kill off a lot of good fish doing that.

Don't change your filters for awhile, because that maybe the only thing keeping the life cycle in your tank going.

Make sure u change 35% of ur water every 2 weeks! N don't use hot water cuz it has chemicals. Go to monsterfishkeepers.com.. I get lots of help there.
