Go with the new sundown 3500d it supossley does 3800 on a 12volts and 5000 on 16von caraudioclassifieds.org there having a presale i think there going for $850

1 ohm is the plan...but my subs will be dual-1 from the beginning to wire the soundstream @ 1 ohm for the pair...so I'll either have to recone them to dual-2's or just run them 2 ohm daily and .5 for burps, my electrical should be able to keep up etc.

im very satisfied with every aq purchase ive made, dont know how you could go wrong with that much power on tap for that price. i know the 1200d's will take 16v but it doesnt say that the 2200 or 3500's do, maybe dj would know.

what does it usually take to get on a manufacturers "team"?

If AQ had a team, I'd be on it. Guy i know is running a pair of 3500s, but he did not take pics as far as I know. BigJoker is his name on the forum.

OP, if you can wait until June which I believe is when the Sundown is available, I'm sure some AQ 3500s might pop up for cheaper than 700.

AQ does not have an official AQ team. Our prices are the same to everyone, we do not give competitor discounts, multi item discounts, "team" discounts or any other discounts of any kind.
