AQ2200 at .5 Ohms. Possible?

a guy who bought my amp is running it at .5 right now.
been almost a month since he's had it so, must be going good.

Did you happen to sell it to a guy named Ray? Lives in La, and typically goes by the s/n squishy or soemthing like that?

I only had it on there for a month or two, never shut off on me but it did run hot, I did not clip it (used remote gain with clipping indicator). I wouldn't suggest running it @ .5 unless your electrical is great, Also keep in mind my voltage never dropped below 13.

Your electrical is decent, but I would try to look for a bigger alt.

I float close to 13, every once and a while above. But I dont wanna risk the amp. I might buy the mojo instead. Still looking for other suggestions for 2000rms at 2 or .5 ohms

Sundown 1500 is pretty solid @ .5.

I run my Sundown 3000 @ .5 and it takes it like a champ and doesn't even get warm.
