HDC bang for buck.

Personal pick 9510, with better build quality and it'll get a wee tad louder.

If you're even remotely on a budget, get the HDC. You probably wont notice too much of a difference. The subs are very similar.

I've drop tested the original HD3's and 9500f's in the past. In my install there was no change in score. They were exactly the same. Sounded the same too.

I haven't gotten the chance to repeat the drop in with an HD3c -vs- a 9500g series. However I can tell you the HD3c is considerably louder than an original HD3 in my install. I just don't know how much if any the G series is louder than the F series for the DD's.

My advice.....buy the HD3a's. The aluminum coil HD3c is built in house with american coils and spiders. There would be very little advantage to buying a DD over the aluminum coiled AQ.

And yes i'm on a budget. But i got a good deal for 350 on a 9510. But i figured if i can get the other for 260 then why nou

for a daily set up I'll take the HDC every time as their price/performance ratio is very good. If I planned to compete and throw a TON of power at it I'd either get the alum coil HDC or a DD...

i dont know how DD's customer service is but i know audioques is exceptional. i know that has always been a big factor in choosing companies.

DD customer service is great. I have never had any issues gettign ahold of someone and answering my questions. AQ's customer service is awesoem as we all know too. Cant go wrong with either choice
