2 15'' re mx or 1 re xxx

i am so torn i have 1 re mx 15'' currently and i am torn between going with 2 15'' re mx sealed at 3.5 cubes or 1 re xxx 15'' at 3.5 cubes. i would like to retain sq but dont mind to have spl. going in a 1998 vette

also amp will be a hifonics 2607 or saz 3000

i currently have my mx 15'' ported at 3.2 cubes at 28hz and the reason why one ported is because i wount have enough room and if i get a huge to 2 big subs then it will still be loud but still have some SQ

Do the recommended 4c/ft @ 32hz or so for the MX. I hit about a 143 and I had somewhat of a leaky box and in a small SUV. In your vette you should be able to get 145dbs easily.

you need a sub that would work well with the space that you have, and that doesn't necessarily means upgrade from what you have

weak, my friend was hitting 143 on a termlab with music with his MX12 in a grand am. shit im pretty sure my SE 15 on 1200watt would be in and around 140s in my truck. my SE in a suv, and a higher tuned box i would gauranty mid 140s-
