ssf shouldn't be that high. Your going to cut out a lot of lows from the woofer. I the highest i would set it is 30hz.
my hdc3's sounded like *** unless i set my lpf to around 60... but thats all personal preference.

You can do down as much as 10hz below box tuning, I thought it would be easier for him but you're right, and for the SSF 100hertz is fine.. thats what I'm using, even DJL suggested that.

okay at this point im thinking of making a new box for them,

or i should say two boxes, so i can get one small jump seat in the back area between the two boxes ..

I will do them port up sub up ,

tuned to around 38, and then about 2 cubes net each box ?

would that get a significantly better than current box ?

i wouldnt put them in less the a4 cub each and tuned to 38 to 40 and fire the subs up and port up i lose about 6 dbs if i fire the sub forward
