Aq,Jbl,or Ia...Which to choose?

Well i just sold my explorer and im picking up my new car soon(1996 impala ss). I cant decide on the setup i wanna run in it. I know it has tons of trunk space so i am thinking a dual 15 setup would be best, but i am also considering 4 12 inch mag v4's.

I am just wondering if anyone with experience with these subs can give me some input/ comparison on the setups and which you would choose?

2 Aq Hdc315's on 2 aq2200's

2 Jbl W15GTi-MkII on 2 Jbl Bpx 2200's

2 Ia Death penalty 15'son a Ia 40.1

All setups would be ported and have a sufficient electrical to back, any help is appreciated.

Oh and im leaning more towards sql factor than straight out spl, but i still want to get loud!!!

while the jbl setup would by far be the sexiest, the IA would probably yield the best results. The AQ for the money is just an awesome deal. 4 12's would have more airspace though so possibility for more dbeeeeeeeeez

i have a DP taking a 2500d loud and sounds nice. i like the dp better than the hdc. just my .02

i've heard great things about the GTI, i would get one but cant afford 2 atm and i hate how a single gti can only be run in 3 or 12 ohms...

the gti might sound better than the AQ, and prolly will get a little lower... the AQ will probaly handle more power and get "louder" and is cheaper

my above statement might be wrong since i dont have any personal exp with either, but i believe it to be true .. and i cant comment about the IA... but have a feeling it will murder both in loudness (no idea how it is in SQ tho)

and then you were considering the mag which i also heard excellent things about.. but the GTI and mag are more SQ oriented while the IA (im pretty sure) and defently the AQ, are SPL oriented...

yeah i really wanna do the 4 12's but im concerned about weight which is why if i did the 4 12's setup i would use the Si Mags v4's to cut down as much as possible, but i still think itll be more than the dual 15 setup. I also agree i love the sexy jbl which is why im so interested, but i have no experience with the subs.

i had both a dp and hdc, i changed from the hdc cuz i wanted to tune lower and didnt want to risk the sub, my dp gets loud and low, broke my rear view mirror w/ the dp. i dont feel i need to be as careful w/ the dp as i did w/ the hdc

Im biased... IA.. I am going to start my build soon. I am going to run 2 DP 12's on a 40.1.

aq is the best for the money imo.

but those dp's sure are sexy

cool thanks for your input man. I do love how sexy the DP's are also and they seem so beefy to be rated at 1500 watts. would you say its louder than the hdc and still sounds better?

id get the dps..

soon as i get my money right im going to try to get 2 21" Dps and IA.40.1

well i went up on my gain and settings a little when i set up the dp, so in my case yes. but i think the aq was a bit louder in the higher freq., but that was mostly due to tuning
