Aq Hdc3 15" Vs. Audiopulse Revo 15"

my TC2K the surround came detach from the cone so he send me a new top assembly. all he had at the time was a LMS4000 top assembly. So I said sure send it to me ill try it. By that time I had already had my lvl 4 and loved it so I never got around to putting the TC back in.

I am about to have the DC reconed to a 18 I think. and play with the TC will it is getting reconed

that is a tc9 motor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I learn something new each day huh. I could have sworn that they were diffrent. mAYBE IM THINKING OF the TC7

100% sure. the reason I am so sure is because i have never seen a LMS coil config. I thought the VC was ****ed up because it was wraped so weird. So i made a thread and asked wtf was wrong with the top assembly and they all said thats what a LMS coil looked like. I have pics some where in a thread that I made. but when I get home ill take some pics if you want?

Any advice on what size box, or tuning these things like? What is the big deal with LMS? I know that it supposed to do something like keep motor streghnth constant or something correct?

and that fit right into your motor?

if so then you never had a true TC9 motor to begin with

but thats irrelevent at this point, you have an LMS4000

they like the big boxes... you wanting to go ported or sealed? and what size sub?

lvl 4 > TC2000

Yea fit right in. I powered it up real quick for like 10 min on my 1501d real low to make sure nothing sounded funny and it worked fine.

Ported and it is a 12"

yeah just bought a 4th 15" Revo. Let me get a few months to save up again and I'll show you how loud some TC9's can get.
ok... im sure it will sound amazing and be a great street beater

but get some numbers and then compare them to some ppl running four 15" HDc3's

im not saying the revo isnt a good sub because it is... but the HDc3 is more of an Spl sub... its louder than the revo
