Aq 3500d?

Thats the point I was trying to make about components also.
If he can get away with selling for 600 + shipped, Which Im sure he can do it. Seeing it wont have as much markup as other amps, cause of being direct.

Honestly I'd do a 4kw. But what do I know about marketing.
im sure he could get away with less than that to be honest, but i mean, the guy does deserve to make some money lol. cant be building shit for free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I'm all for competition in the market at any level. Whether its a smart business move or not I have no idea.
Well since hes a internet/direct only, price is what it is about.

Us internet folks like good shit, for cheap.

It wont be hard at all to compete with other companies on price, since theres not to many direct only companies out there.

Cause thats not where the money is in car audio.

You would be surprised how much it actually cost to make amps.

I know what other 3k-4k amps cost the companies.

actually, it probably would. i dont know the first thing about amp manufacturing. all i know is what i like when i use it.

so does it seem reasonable to assume it can be done for a $600 price tag and be worthwhile for the company?

From a direct company, yes.

Im going to break something down for you.

Companies get the product for say X dollars. Then they usually sell it to the dealers for 50% more than they paid. Then the dealers mark it up another 50-70%.

Thats a lot of markup.

Seeing he has no dealers, everybody basically gets "dealer" cost on it.

Yeah, but I don't see but one set of power/ground inputs.

Im sure it might not "need" em but its getting close to the point where I think they need to be there.
