So I'm trying to talk DJ into this. He is a little reluctant to get into the big amp market, but I think we can break him down with a little effort. I know I've got him interested enough that he has started shopping for boards. depending on price, there is a market. The current quality amps out there aren't, IMO, affordable for the daily system.

Thats what 'm saying. I have no problems running 3.5kw+ for daily.

I think with the right product he could really make an impact in the market for that power, but it might take something to stand out. maybe one hell of a price or just a really well built, reliable, well priced amp should do the trick. I think most people really want something that they can install, get great power out of and not worry about it blowing 6 months down the road. Reliability is key.

daily systems don't require 3.5kw.

daily also as in: non-competitor system.

yeah... people use zx2500.1's for daily... its not much of a stretch for the same guys using the zx2500.1's and the saz-3000d's and etc

I think it would be a great idea for AQ i'm sure a crap ton of people are gonna jump on board considering the name first, and then we all know DJ is gonna be very competitive with pricing. Would be a great match to compliment those Hdc3's for daily or comp setups. Shoot while he's at it might as well get the 4 channel or 2 channel with comps to match, and i'm sure ALOT of people will be rocking all AQ systems. Not all but alot.

I believe he has a 4X100 watt amp comming soon. Component sets are a possibility (I'm trying to talk him into them as well).
