Jnralp00 has a set strapped to a 15" AQ HD3... No numbers yet but i can tell you this the deff do rated and then some....

yeah i have 2 and I am pretty sure they do rated and then some with no problems i was just wanting to know what approximate numbers they have been proved to do on 12-13v @ 1 ohm

Very strong amps. No numbers though. The two of them destroy the HK4000, but that's about all I can tell you so far.

i know its off topic but how is the hd3 liking 4000+ watts?

To be honest it doesn't really. Can only really burp it with this much power. I wouldn't tell anyone to strap the two aq2200's to run daily on the original hd3, although I'm sure the hdc3 would take it a bit better. It gets hot and stinky really quickly under full tilt on music.

I have a AQ2200 on each of my Hd3 15's and they are doing fine with the 2kw+ but I could see them not taking 2 2200's a piece, although some people have ran these subs on Memphis 4kw, these 2200's are strong and 2 would be too much for one sub even an HDC3 for daily listening.

Agreed... The Hd3 handled the hk4000 pretty well, but the two 2200's is too much for daily listening.

just keep the volume turned down
