If I wanted to go big id just get two DD 9500's and run each one off of their own AB 150.1's but im not trying to blow out my daily commuters windows at every show

A member on here pulled a 146 on some xd 12s in the trunk of a bmw 3 series

That's what I'm talkin about. I wanna push at least 144db off a MCD 1000 and the two 12's in a ported box in the comp. Which is deffinately possible.

I know the AB HD is the AQ HDC3 and maybe the VFL is the HDC4?

It depends on where you get american bass from. Some places sell cheaper than others so you may get a HD for more or for less than an HDC3.

are you burping or playing music??? if you are burping I would buy something decent with a 3 or 4 inch coil and throw 10k at it..... okay maybe not but you could look into the sundown z series or some ssa zcons.... the only aq sub I would buy would be the hdc4..

Team Northeast SPL event. I'm running in the Rookie 2 class. I've seen a guy run 3x 8's in a rigged ported box and pulled a 143 at a db drag powered by an older Memphis 1000.1. I'm sure I could pull a low to mid 140's with my set up in my explorer

I had 2 12" SDC's off an AQ1200 in the trunk of my altima. daily tuned/ported box did a 142 on music. You should be able to do a 43 or more in a the right enclosure, especially in a Sploder...
