Sounds spectacular off of only 80 watts in my home and in my vehicle just amazing output and on a broad band of bass frequencies. Box is larger as it is a ½ Wave T Line as it is 31” L x 18.5” x 21”

Built with ¾ Mdf, black fleck Painted Flared Kerf port, 45’s in corners, and will be putting better carpet on the box before it leaves out.

bump i had 3 in 2.5 cubes @ 35-37hz with around 400 watts to each and they get pretty loud. for the price its the best 8 out there

I have the box looking way better now as I am now going to make the face a double baffle instead of a partial. The subs will be flush mounted now and I will have some new updated pictures tomorrow as I am not going to want to get rid of this after the additional work I have invested into it and the output.

OFFER up guys this is one sick deal for a T Line (1/2 wave) and 2 8" Apex super jr's

Box did look pretty rough in the pictures though but I will keep everyone posted once I have the enclosure carpeted and finalized.

Here are some UPdated pictures of the box as I went ahead and finished it out with a double baffle and recessed mount for the subs. I also carpeted the enclosure in quality carpet and it is ready to go with the subs now. ONLY Cosmetic was changed as I wanted to make it looked as well as it sounds.

Thanks man. I could not like the wood baffel that was curved on the side and the front so I went ahead and removed them and recess mounted the subs like we talked about.

This is really saying alot about these Apex Super 8 jr's as audio phill has tested many different subwoofers as I beleive he may have said he had 37 different subs laying around that he had tested or was about to.

117 subs combined laying around or on the way to me at the moment lol, I've pulled TSP's from 500ish subs now lol. I usually go through 10G a year on audio equipment, mainly subs lol, the Apex was, for the price, one of the best, most natural sounding 8's I've played with, not the loudest nor the most tactile, but a nice woofer for the money. I don't have tsp's for the apex now, I lost several hundred sets during an extrenal HD meltdown, but with a lil tweak of the leads you can expect 1.5" P-P usable throw reliably.

Single 3ohm coils. Both read about 2.8ohm on dmm and I believe a pic is included in thread.
