Sounds spectacular off of only 80 watts in my home and in my vehicle just amazing output and on a broad band of bass frequencies. Box is larger as it is a ½ Wave T Line as it is 31” L x 18.5” x 21”

Built with ¾ Mdf, black fleck Painted Flared Kerf port, 45’s in corners, and will be putting better carpet on the box before it leaves out.

Its going in an 06 suzuki forenza...will get the dims in a bit. What is the max power these can take on music? All I have currently is a Powerbass Extreme 1500. Does max at 1 ohm

Your amp would be fine as you can do 1.5ohm at around 750w+ as these are ok with 200-250w a piece daily but some have done 300w a piece.

I always try to fill the space behind my 45's as some may think it is pointless or does not help at all but I just figured it cant hurt as its got to be better than dead space and could make the box slightly sturdier. I also will typically fiberglass the inside of the kerfed port after using some mdf paste, bondo over it and sand smooth, and bondo over 45's to smooth and round off as best I can. Kind of overbuilt to some but I like doing it. I guess I am about to build a 1/4 wave box with a little more time put into it as I assume my test box here is not a hit at all as it is on the large size for some 8's but it is also a 1/2 wave box.

Ok I am about to start a build on a 1/4 wave for these Apex super jr 8's that will be similar to the box below I did for the Sa8 below. The box will be more like 31"L x 10"d x 16.5"h
