i would go for a different amp. the sony may work alright but probably isn't the best for your budget. how much can you spend on an amp

well i can buy another amp in about two weeks if i need too but i dont really want too, i just want sumthing that can handle the power and put out alot of bass for now but i dont want it to be a bad investment, last time people told me to go with this Sony and Clif Design subs and i wasted my money as the subs blew in a month and i still have the same amp

this shits so confusing to me, if I get that L5 I shouldnt have problems right?

The L5 is fine....but the sony amp is lacking

the sony will work fine, just letting you know there is better out there. most people bashing sony haven't even used sony amps. the L5 12 or L5 15 will be fine off of that power. make sure you get a dual 4

Unless you don't know how to set up the amp, no, you shouldn't have the same problems.

I would go for a 15" L5 or something similar for now. It will sound alright on your current amp, and still leave you the option to upgrade the amp in a few weeks and further increase performance.

honestly, get a 15" L5 and get a hifonics or ma amp instead of the xplode. The xplode isn't worth 170 bux IMO. Too many other brands out there better for the money.

why are u saying to get the Dual 4 and this guys saying get Dual 2, whats the difference????

with a dual 2 you can lower your ohm's to a 1ohm load on the amp

with a dual 4 you can lower your ohm's to a 2ohm load on the amp

with a single sub that is
