Than 2 Type R 12's for $210 shipped? Somehow I don't think so, but I'm throwing it out there. I really want to be different, but I could get pleasantly loud with 2 of these and a 1500 watt amp. So, am I missing a good deal somewhere?

I would probably look at something else. A single FI SSD would probably sound better than the type-r's. and it would save you $70

Hrm, I'd really love two 12's. Willing to port. As for the SSD, its the same price as two type r's. Well a 15" is. I think I'll get two type r's, and then add another x600 in the future. For the money, I'll get two nice subs, and upgradeability in the future. I'll keep my eye out on other subs though.

2 x 12 rs on a xenon 600.1 @ 700 rms is a great system for little $$...do it. you could spend weeks searching for something else and get about the same performance, type rs are well respected and the xenon is a solid amp.

One more question, I swear....

How do OZ audio ME 12's compare to the Type R's. Can they be had used for about the same price as new Type R's?
