Personally, I'd also throw the W7 into that mix... IMHO, I'd put the Brahma and W7 on the same level, in terms of SPL/SQ mix. The XXX, by way of a higher Fs, is a bit more SPL oriented, but still is a **** fine SPL/SQ mix driver.

Figure 60/40 SQ/SPL for the W7 and Brahma, and 40/60 SQ/SPL for the XXX, IMHO.

The IDMax? Got one here at the office - interested? A bit beat up, will sell cheap... Not quite in the same league as the W7, Brahma, or XXX, but still a very competent woofer.

PS: FWIW, the Extreme's price is also set as a deterrent, since it is very much a conceptual/research piece of gear. But for competition reasons, it must be made available, so if you have the money and time, we will build one for you...

The Brahma Extreme is an ongoing research project; we released information so that, if desired, it could be used in legal competitions. However, we do not expect to sell any yet, thus the high price. And no fixed T/S parameters.

As far as looks, look at a Brahma 15 - looks identical to it. Only two differences: internal motor is different, to give much more Xmag, Xmax, and BL, and the logo is stamped in yellow.
