anyone wondering about the new autotek amps??

yea for $150 a amp NIB i cant complain, they push the mean machine subs to there limits, and when i started this set up it was supposed to be a budget build joke but turned into a ground pounding experience.. i have to say that maxxsonics really went all the way with the new autotek line of *cheap* power

i got 4 MM subs in a ported box and it will rattle your eardrums and nose hairs... i dont have numbers for it since my mic is dead..

Man, I'm sure around the AMPs are probably fine at their legit power. It just irritates me that these are nowhere NEAR rated power. Sometimes more than double the fuse rating (depending on the model). The Quart line is right on or very slightly over-rated. I'd be a hell of a lot more impressed if they called the M4000.1D a 1500.1D and it be totally legit.

^ I agree. Not sure why they'd over-rate the HELL out of these amplifiers like this. I remember the ol' MM4kW. Was a great and powerful deal there, capable of producing its ratings. Not labeled as 4kW as these but only able to produce maybe 1.5kW..

300 bucks for the possibility of obtaining ~3kW altogether isn't a bad deal though. I guess it's right around the AP then.

For sure, but I'd still be ashamed to show them to anyone. Regardless if they do 1.5kw, and you got them for $150 each, no one is going to take them that

seriously. Then again, i'm over 30 and am not interested in a pissing contest or who has what. But I woud know, and it would irk me. That alone would keep

me from buying. That said, I just picked up a Lanzar Opti1400D. I'll probably never be able to give it away if I don't want it, but I don't imagine me ever needing more than that. I've done enough research to figure out that the opti series is decent.
