Looking for less than about $280 shipped, because my ideal amp is the MRP-M1000, but if there is one cheaper and puts out just as much, or more, power then I will look into it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Alpine amps are not 1 ohm stable. I have an '08 kicker zx1500.1 for sale in excellent shape for $325 shipped. It will do 1600+ at 2 ohms. Perfect for 2 dual 2 ohms R's. A little over your budget but I thought I'd throw it out there.

The 4's sound good, and I won't ruin the subs OR the amp putting it to 1ohm correct? Another thing I keep getting confused about is the amount of speaker wire terminals to use on the box. no you will not ruin the amp by have it at 1 ohm as long as it one ohm stable. you will want to wire it like this one look at the one that says 2 dual 4 subs to 1 ohm. as for the speaker wire terminals on the box. i had 2 put on my box when i had the guy build mine. what amp did/are you deciding on?

Looks like I will be getting that Hifonics, seems decent, awesome price, and the exact power level I want.

Also, I wanted just one set of 2 terminals, and according to this diagram, it looks like I can set it up like this, correct?

lol i dont know if that's the perfect box but it gets the job done. i think you will be happy with 4-4.5 cubes tuned around 35
