Wondering actual user feedback on MB Quartz component speakers?

I have had almost every series of mb quart. And it depends on your budget, and what you are paying for them.... I like a lot of other speakers more than quarts.

what are the downfalls of them? What brands would be better then those, cause I was under the impression that those are pretty up there... On the side of regular brands... most "average" people know of infinity.. but i want better then that... and i was reading up that quarts are great..

Im currently running two sets of 5 1/4 premiums on a MM75.4. I dont really have any problems with them. They get loud and stay clean and crisp. The only other speakers Ive used is eclipse.

What are you wanting to know about them?

MB Quarts, if installed and powered correctly, sound awesome. They get very loud and have a nice full, sharp and defined sound.

they are great speakers...other brands that compete with them I guess would be focal, cdt, rainbow, and more

I've installed several sets of MB Quart Components and speakers over the years and they all perform well. Of course like anything else you can expect the SQ to improve with price:greedy:, however as a recommendation the Reference series speakers have a fantastic sound and are priced well. There would be many to tell you to look elsewhere as MB Quart has changed ownership and may not stack up as well as before, although reviews haven't shown this to have affected the quality yet. It would also be true that there is better speakers out there. If they sell for the same money I don't know for sure, but like any other purchasing decision it depends on the budget you have, the target application, and whether or not you're willing to wait to save for the better equipment. Everyone here can make suggestions but what matters is what you're willing to spend and what sounds good to YOU. Good luck!

yeah but if ur gonna go mb quarts go big and get q series. imo the other ones arent that great

I know it all comes down to budget and what I want. But i didnt know which series was good. so that was my first thing. Ive never heard of rainbow- focal- ect, maybe thats because those are more directed brands to a market of people unlike myself, or too rich for people like me...

What i want is ths, in a nutshell, I want my yukon to sound amazing on the inside to match the looks on the outside, and be far superior to factory but not cost 3,000 to do the whole system.

Im already gonna have to pay 600+ for my pioneer headunit, i want something better then the basic upgrade, with amazing sound and I told these will achieve that. Im always been told that MQ Quartz are the way to go.

well if you want ebay some premiums or Q series and you will be able to get them at around 200 a set. either of those will suite your wants I believe

Has anyone purchased from a said store on ebay, that they would recommend? MB Q is going to be my door setup..

Going with pioneer subs.... ( I think im going to get some statements about that.. lol )
