Anyone with a 2 battery setup for daily?

I'm going to have a 2 battery set-up for daily driving but i need to know what other equipment i need besides the extra battery, an isolater and the battery cables.

just wire and fuses...

i ran an isolator for awhile, would take it and the batteries out for shows every once in a while. Ended up putting the batteries back in w/o it and didnt notice a difference at all.

battery to fuse holder,

fuse holder to secondary battery,

secondary battery to fuse holder,

just like normal from here as far as power goes...

ground the secondary battery

i chose to run the grounds for the amps off the secondary batteries..

so all you do is add a power wire from the first batt and fuse it to the pos on the second batt and ground the second battery to what? engine block, chassis?

you could ground to either. I kept mine short and went to the frame immediately underneath

yea, but if you're battery is under the hood... itll more than likely be much longer than recommended.

well my second battery will be in the trunk...with 2/0 welding cable connecting the 2 together.

We actually ran the same amount of ground wires as power wires from the battery up front last season compared to going directly to the frame.
