you should get insurance for your bike and medical insurance for yourself seriously. You never know when something might go wrong and you dont want to be paying medical bills for the rest of your life.

me? I have medical, but there are limitations to the amount they cover. When riding, I was covered by an ADDITIONAL 350K in medical just in case. Depending on the circumstances, when bikes crash it can be very costly when it comes to repairing the body. My gear (helmet, leathers, boots, gloves) was covered in my policy as well.

Lucky for me though, I have a cheap head (shape) HJC helmets fit me the best, and I could not stand the feel of the more $$$$ helmets like Shoei, Arai and the like haha!

yeah you never know when something might happen to you on a bike. Just today i was riding down the street going around 35-40 mph when this car just jumped on my lane almost knocking me out. I had to do a hard lean to the right and drive by the sidewalk just to avoid it. Thank god there were no parked cars or something serious could have happen. Just be careful out there i just starting riding since the beginning of this year and i already have seen that even at low speed you can get pretty messed up in a accident.
