I watched it a bit when it started, and am watching it now. Who thinks Clemens is innocent? Guilty?

Can someone please explain to my why the government gives a shit if a player is using roids or not? Seems like an awful lot of work for something I would imagine most professional athletes have tried.

I really don't know what to think at this point because Clemens has denied all this from the beginning and has done it in front of congress now. Also, the one congressman called that trainer a blatant liar. On the other hand Pettite testified that he talked to Clemens about taking HGH. Regardless someone is going to jail.

I don't really care, I just want the hearings to last a really long time. As long as those senators are distracted with that BS they are not fVcking up something important.

Yeah I wonder the same thing. Sure it isnt the right thing to do, but with all the money and time thats going into these steroid investigations you have to wonder why all these resources arent going to something much more meaningful. I mean there are much more pressing issues in this country right now than steroids.

I'm not watching it, but I'm following Jayson Stark's blog here at work.

As much as I think Congress needs to find something more important to do with their time, I absolutely despise Rawwwga Clemens, and hope he goes to jail and gets buttraped, and bat fragments thrown at his head.

Oh, and he's a lying sack of shit. It doesn't help that the other two Yankees accused of using PED by McNamee have confirmed his story, and that Pettitte, his bff, has said that Clemens has said in the past that he used HGH.

Plus, Clemens has changed his story several times:

-said McNamee never injected him with anything

-said McNamee only injected him with B-12 and lidocane

-said he never had a conversation with Pettitte about HGH

-said he had a conversation with Pettitte about his wife taking HGH

-said he never had a conversation with McNamee about HGH

-said he had a conversation with McNamee about his wife taking HGH

I can go on...

Plus, Clemens looks like a beaver.

Yeah that seems really fishy. I think they approached him during the report and told him he better give them something on Clemens, or some other big name for that matter and he was forced to make something up or go to jail, as he has a tainted past with steroids and everything.

I don't know what to think

But I do know one of these guys is a complete jackass

And yeah I hope Clemens is telling the truth but there are some strange parts about his story,

I don't give a shit about the hearing, or the entire useless sport as a whole.
So what if he did steroids. That's the leagues problem, not the US Goverment's.

It's a great sport, I don't know why you say otherwise. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it useless.

Also you can't have the MLB look over the investigation because the results would be tainted. After all this makes them look bad so why would they want the truth getting out?

It's tough to watch a whole baseball game.

I'll only sit down and watch the playoffs. For regular season, I'll catch a couple innings here or there.

However, going to games is a whole different thing..
