anyone wanna help a clueless person?

hey everyone,

so im new to this forum and pretty much new to car audio stuff too. im basically looking for some help on what i need to put together a system.

i have a jvc KD-SX780 and has a max output of 200w (50wx4) that i more or less intend to keep, and ive recently bought this for the front. i dont plan on getting rear speakers (yet).

i have a 92 accord.

but what i do need is a sub and an amp. im on a budget (about 300 give or take) to spend on both of these. can anyone help me find what i need...im clueless when it comes to what specs i need to look for. if it helps (for preference), i listen to rock (thrice, taking back sunday, afi, the used, etc).

first off welcome to the forum. second of all i'm not going to specifically help you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . but just do a search on a number of subs and amps on this lovely forum and maybe you can find your answer. just search and search and search. you'll learn more as you read, rather than having someone tell you whats good and what not.

First of all, I dont know about that paticular head unit, but your front comps look very nice. One thing to keep in mind though is you head unit is all important. Its your command center for all to follow. As far as your sub go in general you can't really go wrong with Alpine type R or at least that would be a good starting place.
