anyone using a bat cap?

Has anyone used a bat cap to help stabilize voltage spikes? I am using golf kart batteries and the internal resistance they build up will sometimes result in a major voltage drop. I am not ready to switch to kinetics due to price but looking for another alternative.

i've run all sorts of Batcaps.....

To the OP, you dont want to spend money on batts with a decent internal voltage, but you are willing to spend money on a batcap as a bandaide?
