Anyone use Raptor Wire?

I bought my roll of 1/0 awg raptor wire the same time as speedy did through thunder9500 but I never even used it....
lol that was a good deal. i just bought some more wire from btnhfan. it's welding supply 0ga. anyone know how it compares (to raptor specifically)?

I live in Troy, OH just north of Dayton off I75
i'm down here at UC for school. wish i was back home in cleveland. i'd stop by knukoncepts to get my stuff free of shipping (noticed u were in cleveland when i was on the site. i'm from cleve hts.).

OMG lol I got the Knuconcept wire today for my Big 3 upgrade, and compared to the Raptor wire, it looks at least like twice as much copper wire! I should get my computer parts tomorrow, and once I get my computer up and running again I will take pics to show the difference between what both companies call a 0 awg wire. All I can say is there surely is not a government regulation on what a company can call a 0 awg wire lol If there is, one of these companies has it way off lol

yea I was trying to explain to u the difference in the wires bro....thats why I told u you're gonna end up upgrading later on anyways.....so its good to go with the KnuKoncepts wires.....

Seriously, if you draw so much current that 0 guage Raptor wire gives you trouble then the wire itself is the least of your problems.
From what he described in his measuremnet post, its more like 4 gauge with lots of jacketing. His amps at max can draw over 250A, that would give 4 gauge some troubles or at least a serious loss of voltage due to the high resistance

lol I have a CAD degree, so No I measured right. The radius of the copper is 1/4" across. From the one side of the rubber protection of the wire to the other is a total of 5/8". I just had a feeling the deal could have been a rip off. I have some Knu 0 awg wire on the way to use as my Big 3 update, I will compare the two companies wires then.
Ok MR. CAD man... radius is 1/4" or diameter?

yes that is correct....Use either Stinger or KnuKonceptz bro......Considering you're gonna be pulling all them amps you're definitely w/o no doubt gonna run into trouble with the raptor!

Yes I plan to go with KnuKonceptz wire as soon as the final plans come about. I think Bill might be working on it for me.

The Raptor wire radius is 1/4" while the Kolossus wire has 1/2" radius copper.
