Anyone use Raptor Wire?

My Power supply for my computer is to be delivered today. Waiting for UPS, then I should be able to load pictures... I do not have a way to compare 0 awg wire right now. It just seems from pictures I have seen of other wire, there seems to be a lot less wire, and a lot more covering on the raptor wire, then that of other wire I have seen pictures of.

Measured the wire is 1/4" thick and the total wire is 5/8" thick

 
I am going to be running a 4 amps system with a Max of 300 Amps of pull. Average will probably be closer to 150-180 amps. I just want to make sure I doo not start a fire with insufficient wire lol!

 
1/0 cable (or 0 ) as indicated by American WIre Gauge would be 9.5mm diameter for stranded cable or more importantly 53.475 mm^2 (area).

So thats roughly 3/8 of an inch, a quarter of an inch equals 6.35mm. Maybe you measured wrong cause that would be 3 gauge:

lol I have a CAD degree, so No I measured right. The radius of the copper is 1/4" across. From the one side of the rubber protection of the wire to the other is a total of 5/8". I just had a feeling the deal could have been a rip off. I have some Knu 0 awg wire on the way to use as my Big 3 update, I will compare the two companies wires then.

 
Raptor is the poor mans wire. It is a little smaller than normal 1/0awg, but it'll still get the job done fine. Tsunami is another great brand.. still retaining low cost with better stand count.

 
I was just sayin....its always good to do it right the first time...instead of upgrading again and again later on.....I bought my roll of 1/0 awg raptor wire the same time as speedy did through thunder9500 but I never even used it....
