will this macine stick 2 pieces of 1.5" steel tubeing together good enuf to hold a 220 lb guy around the block on his new 'low rider' bicycle or no?

how thick is the steel? 16/18 guage...if so it will be fine.

I weld for a living try another occupation it Suxs but pays the bills.It's easy if you have patience and some scrap metal around to practice on.If you can weld aluminum you can weld anything.

exactly, i can get old bike frames for nothing, sawsall/grinder them into pieces, weld pieces back together.

i bet $30 first try i can do a bike frame in less than a day.

eh i wouldnt buy it.

if you dont plan on welding very much with it, youd probably be better off just taking it to someone, it is a good skill to have though.

and just go to home depot or lowes, they have cheap welders there that would be fine to learn with.
