ive used

dynamat xtreme

edead v1

edead v1se or whatever

acoustic mat ......schoshes

brown bread

damplifer

peal n seal

haven't used all that are available but ive used alot

I live in Texas and it gets hot, even hotter in a car ,120º+ for hours

edead didnt last maybe days and the second day was cuz of the smell

peel and seal didnt even stick correctly

dynamat xtreme works well in heat and adhesion but cost more than Second skin

acoustic mat was ok but a little to thin for me. It does hold up in heat

I used all of these in various cars and yes they were all mine

90 BMW 325I, 96 Chevy truck, 06 Scion tc and 04 G35.

Cleaned all surfaces, used roller, made sure of no bubbles

so i take it fatmat isn't any good

what brand should i look into then?

i was looking at getting a 100sq ft roll off of ebay of the reg fatmat

with shipping to my apo it was gonna be 135bucks, before shipping $90

so im looking at a good 45 bucks to ship a roll of mat out here to my apo box

d-mat out here in the uk cost a butt load, its way more then what it is in the US

ed is costly here in the uk vs the usa for the mat

You can buy Second Skin from Car Audio Direct and you can buy Dynamat Xtreme just about anywhere. Your best bet is to take that $135 and buy as much of a good product as you can, then spread it around. Less of a good product will perform better than many more square feet of these others you are looking at.
