I just got my system put in and I really think the amp could power another set without a problem. Just wondering if anyone has done four of these and what type of enclosure they used and what type of results? I am thinking of an upfiring 16 cu.ft. ported enclosure tuned at 34hz which seems to be inline with RE's recomendations??

on of RE's demo cars has 4 15s runnin off two md2ds.. and they sound spectacular, loud as shit and actually pretty clean and smooth, but thats in a wall.

Hey...do you want to give a little review of that Crunch amp. Heard VERY good things about them, but no one's really talked from personal experience.
How effecient are they?

I love the Crunch amp so far; I have only had it up and running for about 3 days. It seems to have a ton of power, however, I am not even sure how to tell the efficiency. FWIW, I have a stock battery (65 series, which is close to a 27) in the front, stock 160A alternator, and a BatCap 800 in the back. I have the Big 3 and pos and neg 1/0 runs front to back. With all that and running 50 mph down the road, the lights still dim pretty bad. I guess I need to upgrade the alternator, yet I can not find anyone who makes one for my car, and/or add some more battery(s). But overall, I have been very happy with the Crunch amp thus far.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Any tips on how to measure its' efficiency would be great...

2 more subs with same power wont be much louder, stick with what you got and enjoy it.

Really? Seems like the amp has a LOT left in it while the speakers seem to be at, or close to, their limit?

I may just hold off though due to space alone, 4 ft. vs. 16 ft. is a lot of real estate in a SUV:laugh:

Get another 800, and I bet your lights won't flex as much. Or....just get a Batcap 2000 and I would be willing to bet you would be cool. As far as measuring, I really don't know how to go about doing that other than clamping it???

I just put my DMM on my + & - to see how much it drops from idle when I blast the subs.
