Just curious if anyone on the forum has run a Q sealed or at least heard one and what their opinions of it were. Also, if u liked it and could recommend a box size that would be helpful also. I am considering buying 2 15's and running them sealed. I'm looking to get pretty loud and still have pretty nice SQ. Thanks

my bro has a 12" sealed (1.6~ cf) with 1000w and it gets pretty loud and sounds quite clean. If it was up to me, i would have it in a bigger box to obtain a flatter response. all in all, it's quite impressive sealed.

at the end of march when im home from school my 18" Q is going from 9.3 cubes ported to 4 cubes sealed...ill let u know then...and sealed doesnt give you a flat response ^^^???

Yeah, I got a pair of Fi Q15's sealed in 4.4cubes on a US Amps MD2 I hit 140db legal on the TL and 148db legal on an AC. That is from the trunk of a Infiniti G35 Sedan and EVERYTHING on my system is stock except for the amp and subs. I'm just using a hi-lo converter from the back speakers. The lowend bass is just plain out sick and the stay clean when I crank it.

Hope that helps...I so go for it. A few ppl on here have heard my setup and approve....

I prefer 2 15's over a single 18, but that's just me...One other thing is, that my Q's hit the numbers I specified above, consistantly from 35hz - 50hz so it has a very flat response, but powerful.

As for BigBang...sorry you're having trouble man...
