05 XXX 12, or BL 15

Well after tons of searching, ive narrowed it down to 2 subs. Im looking to buy an 05 12" XXX, or a new 15" BL

I am somewhat limited on space, so id be giving the 12 inch 3.0 cubes, and id also be giving the 15 inch 3.0 cubes, both at 34hz.

I was just wondering what sub will perform better, I can build a proper box for the 12", but 3.0 cubes is a little small for 15". So i would like your opinion. I'm looking for a loud, loud sub, without sacrificing too much sq.

XXX ftw, i havent heard the BL but its supposed to have less sq then a Q which i have heard and a XXX stomps all over a Q.

I have 1500 watts to use, im currently running about 800 watts to 2 kappa perfect 12"s sealed.. and they dont give me the loudness im looking for, so looking for a single 12, or 15 (depending on required box size), which i want ported. also availible to me is a 12" mojo, so thats one last option

If you want SQ go witht he XXX.

If you want SPL with a bit of SQ in the mix then get the BL.

can i ask why a xxx 12 or a bl 15 it seem's a bit odd maybe down to price ?

Why not a xxx 15 vs a bl 15 ?

Oh the XXX sub's have realy nice SQ and go realy loud to but reading ure post i would go with a 12 and make the right size box and it should be louder then the 15

Ok so its a V3 like the one's i have thay go realy loud from 500wrms pluse

and can take 2k all day long as long as ure amp is set up right

Haven't heard a BL, but don't know when I'll ever get rid of my 12" XXX. I absolutely love it.

ok i see BL's run like 200-300 dollars, give or take. and on woofersetc the XXX is like 1,000+. why would u spend 1000 on one woofer when u can get like 3 BL's for that price?
