anyone "bump off" at a red light before?

Once I get my system in, Ill just roll down the back window so they can see what they're up against, 2 18" MT's and 2 Visonik 4000's. I wont even turn it up.I might ask them if I can hook some jumper cables to their battery so I can turn mine up though. lol.

lol it would definately be intimidating seeing 2 18s in the back of a car, what kind of car are they going in?

so far all im hearing (except for one) are stories of punk kids trying to show you guys up with their systems. anyone actually though have a fun time like i did? like they gave you props or something? and avs20, its true, if i saw 2 18" mt's id just say **** it and go home lol. all these stories remnd me though, of this NICE *** navigator i saw in downtown about a year ago. nice black paint that looked deep as hell. real nice. huge rims too. tv's everywhere and a system like i couldnt believe. the bass was unreal. i have no idea what they had in there but i mean they had no rattles or nothing just BASS for days. and to top it off, there was a fine *** chick driving it with 3 other hot friends.

me and a kid that goes to our rival school had a "bump off" at taco bells parking lot. it started at the light at stellhorn and maplecrest and he came up bumpin in his ricer. so i turn it up a bit and so does he. he yelled at me "I got $20 mines louder than yours." then he was like "how many subs do you have?", and I told him I only had 1 and I had an extra 20$ to burn just incase he did beat me so I agreed.

he had 2 12" Audiobahn's in a prefabbed bandpass box, and i had the flame q in my custom ported box. His setup was sitting in a 1991 Civic Hatchback with like a 2400 Watt max amplifier (actually did like 400 x 2) But since it was 2400 max it was better than mines or so he thought. He turned on "throw it up" by lil jon and started bobbin his head like it was beating. Now this was like last weekend and I knew I was about to sell the 'bahn the next day. I turned the Volume up to 73/80, and had the bass at +1 (h/u eq). It was nasty distorted but it got the job done lol. Dude was real cool about it and even offered to buy the sub from me that day. I told him i already promised it to someone. It was fun and I made 20$ for free.... I know it's not good to be betting or on subs for that matter, but it we were just havin a friendly wager and a good time.

Nobody want's to "boom" against me anymore, but I haven't done that since like high school...

lol.. the in the road bass heads.. i've encounter one of the dumbest...

coming home from work.. i'm tired and hungry.. figure i pull into carls jr. for a quick bite.. these two kids roll up thumpin there music.. i sat their ate my burger and be on my way.. but for some strange profound reason i run into them on the street again.. they pull up next to me.. four lane road.. i'm on the middle right.. hes on the far right.. some big truck on middle left.. and yes.. you guess it.. copper on the far left... truck blocked the copper.. kid going off with his music.. i'm sitting there laughing.. kid rolls down window.. as me what i got.. i turn to him.. "completely stock bro" i asked him.. so what do you have.. kid scream out "audiobahn".. i smiled... he turn it up all the way.. cops looks over.. as truck pulls away.. kid see cop.. kids face drop.. kids get ticket.. i drive away laughing..

i have purchased the majority of my shi t from a dealer near here and he has given me prices that beat the cheapest prices i have seen online. he is also going to install it for me since i have absolutley no time, and thats only going to be about 250 for the custom vinyl box being placed in the back with amp racks. i cant complain. o and my shit will be slamming hardcore.

I guess I should have made it clear how a lot of high schoolers in my area like to go to Best Buy and Circuit City to get their subs. I dont have anything against dealers because I know they can get great or even better prices, but in midwest michigan, all you ever get is Best Buy and Circuit City crap. I only wish there were more people that knew more about car audio im my area.

I did that once in OC and lost my lisence plate and did not know it, drove 45 blocks until the car behing me caught up at a light and handed it to me, take gosh for nice people

I dont see how you can possibly know who won and who lost if you have a decently loud system, when I did and turned it up, there was no way I would be able to judge it in comparison to a car 5 feet away from me.

i've been told by my neighbors i've been heard coming from a block away and their shocked lol it's cuz bass travels farther and that's why they heard me and i was like cool lol I hardly ever blast my bass anymore cuz i don't want my shit stolen.

I dont see how you can possibly know who won and who lost if you have a decently loud system, when I did and turned it up, there was no way I would be able to judge it in comparison to a car 5 feet away from me.

they let me know man. they didnt laugh and give me props for nothing. you know props like a head nod? like a "**** thats nice" with a simple head movement? maybe its a california thing i dont know. eitherway, i had the guys jersey fluttering ( i should say he had a chargers jersey on, go CHARGERS!). you know, like moving with my bass?

I did that a few times when I had my competition enclosure in ... I don't listen to it that loud anymore ... I hated having headaches and especially hated having my earwax melt out of my ears ...

my xxx made my earwax go nuts, i had to clean my ears out everyday so it wouldn't spill out. ewwwww.
