anyone "bump off" at a red light before?

i had my first "bump off" today at a red light. dont worry guys there was no one else around that was being bothered. anyways, some guys rolled up next to me bumping their system and he looked over at me. i turned it up and we just went back and forth tryin to see whose was louder lol. we were both having fun. it ended up with me winning and having the guys friend in the passangers seats jersey fluttering to my bass in the next lane over haha. they both started laughing and gave me props when the light changed green. wish there was more people like that. anyone else ever do something like that? seems pretty rare though as most people are just tryin to look cool and turn it up at red lights just to show off, but these guys were different.

Whoa....Now thats alot of friction caused by moving air. Same principle as to why the skin of a jet heats up at high speeds even though the outside air temperature is well below zero at high altitudes. I myself have never done that before. Most of the time it was in parking lots where there was a large group of people nearby. Dont worry either, noone was bothered by it where we were.

I've done that once. A old accord pulled up next to me and i had my radio low, but they came up with theres a little higher, not much but still audible. I jacked mine up a little, and they looked over, put theres higher. i did somthing like this once, i was at a light and thig guy was in front of me in an older 240sx. he kept looking at me in his mirror, i didnt even hear his stuff bumpn'. so we are still at the light and i skip the song foreward to a diff song. in that pause between tracks i heard his system. then mine started playing again, and heard his nomore. this was back in the day(like 2000-2001) when i had 2 wally world pioneer subs in a prefab bandpass, powered by an old profile califorina series amp, wraped in a 88 hyundai excel

I guess if you compare what i had then to what i have now you can say my toys got better.

lol, not really, i usually point and laugh. a kid in a 95~99 eclipse that was all rusted looked like he had a pair of 12's in the back cause his hatch was vibrating. looked like one of those crappy junkbuckets you see on pimp my ride lol.

i shook my head and drove away (he could see my fantastically large box for my 15 in the back seat im sure)

I have had this happen a few times, but I normally just smile and laugh to myself about how they spent alot of money having some one else install it for them while I spent a fraction of what they did, with equal or better results.

i have purchased the majority of my shi t from a dealer near here and he has given me prices that beat the cheapest prices i have seen online. he is also going to install it for me since i have absolutley no time, and thats only going to be about 250 for the custom vinyl box being placed in the back with amp racks. i cant complain. o and my **** will be slamming hardcore.

i have done it a few times...i've won some (with my dodge) and lost some. there are some serious systems around here...of course i do have the satisfaction of knowing i did mine myself as far as install and boxes.

of course, my first place trophies rebuild my ego...lol

Once I get my system in, Ill just roll down the back window so they can see what they're up against, 2 18" MT's and 2 Visonik 4000's. I wont even turn it up.

I might ask them if I can hook some jumper cables to their battery so I can turn mine up though. lol.

only once and i did win with a crap setup lol. only b/c they kept gettin louder and louder they could see i was mad so i put in a bass test and BOOM they look and like WTF! and looked away real quick hehe!
