I must be old, but "when I was a kid" we actually went out to a club to dance, not playing a game to do so.

I think dancing is like ***...its ok alone, but much better with a partner.

well being able to play ddr in the comfort of your own home (console versions) free of charge is better than having to pay a cover charge at a club and buying drinks all night too.

and yes i do play it on my xbox and 360 and even in the arcades. i'm not a god at it or anything, but it's really fun to play it.

it's about having fun, and yes you can play with a partner as well.

but people have their own preferences of fun. ddr is one way for me.

exactly, being able to do it in your own home for no cost except for the game is great. its something to do when theres nothing to do. i live in upstate ny and its been snowine alot lately so it kills time. and i play in the arcade now somtimes as well. its something....semi-fun to go out and do considering half the places you go you see a ddr maching. i.e movies, bowling alyy, amusement park.
