Well people im doing a partial wall in the back of my envoy and its either i can get 3 15" Diamond Audio D6s for $600 and run like 1000 to each or get 2 18" FI BLs fully loaded for $700 with about 3600 watts on em...what should i do looking for opinions and plus' and minus' to each setup...thanks

Trey

If you want low lows, I would go with Q's.
The BL didn't have as much low end it seemed (same box).

Out of those, I would do the BL's if you wanted more SPL and diamond if you wanted a really clean sound.
i kinda do want a cleaner sound...you dont thing the D6s would get as loud as the BLs?

Who is concerned so much with clean sound when asking about 2 18s, or 3 15s anyways? The bls will sound good enough.
yea but theyre $100 more and the 15s have more cone area just 600 less watts and sound better why not ya know? idk just wanted opinions on both woofers

the q's get lower than the bl's? not what i wanted to hear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

im waiting on my 2 bl 15 d2's to get here, to replace to d1 q 15's in the same box, off an american bass vfl 200.1. i was kind of hopin the bl's would be louder across the board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Once the BL's break in, they will get just as low as the Q's, and have more output. Trey you know what Im gonna say, but if you want til after Daytona, I might be able to help you out with some 15's for a good price! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif And just do a full wall homie, I draw up the design for you, when you come up, to pick up the subs! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Okay, here is my input. If I were you, I'd actually go with the Diamond D3s if you're looking for louder bass. The D6s are more of an efficenticy sub and the D3's are bassier. I had a D6 12" with a 1000 watt amp in a Diamond box, and it was nice, but I have a D3 15 in a homemade, half butt box with a $90-200 watt amp, and this thing hits pretty nicely. That's just my input.

I've seen the D6 12s retail for about $260 and the D315s retail around $240. Hope this helped and good luck.

Oh, I forgot, this guy that owns a stereo company in Northeast Ohio, had a single D6 12 with a Fusion 2000watt amp to it in a Zx2, and this thing made car alarms all over the parking lot go off.

idk if i wanna do a full wall tho...only 36k miles on this car and im prob gunna sell it after college or in college...so idk..and also i wanted 18" BLs so idk the only reason i was thinkin D6s is because they are cheaper and would be more cone area

D6s are amazing sups, but so are the bls. You get more cone area with the Diamonds, but deeper response with the 18s. Its up to you.

If you want cleaner sound thats still gonna be impressive and get pretty low, stick with the D6s. If you want deeper and louder sound, the bls.
