anyone own a samsung 731B lcd?

I've been trying to find detailed information before I have to actuall call samsung tech support, but can't seem to find what I need. I'm looking to power one of these monitors(or any other similar one for that matter) without using an inverter. I've read that a lot of home lcd's are infact 12v DC inside, and then they are converted by a "brick" in the power cord to 120v AC. Problem is, this monitor, as well as many other new lcd's now a days don't have the bricks in the cord anymore. Actually, I haven't found one yet with one. What I need to know though is if this monitor is 12v DC inside the monitor, and if I can tap into the wire before its converted to 120v, and power the lcd off my.computers power supply. I pretty much know I can, its just I don't know if this monitor is 12v on the inside...I don't want to buy it, and it not be 12v inside, then I'm screwed. I can't find it in the PDF either...can anyone help me? Lol
