anyone on a DCX series PPI?

If so would you take a pic with the plastic covers removed? I have read that the covers are eaisily removed and that they look better without them. Have any of you seen one with the covers removed?

#1 - This post has no relevance to the topic at hand. He didn't ask your opinion of them. He asked to see a pic of them without the cover.

#2 - Not everyone agrees with you. They put out rated power and do it cleanly. And overall have a low warranty service rate. I fail to see how that makes them bad in any way, shape of form. Sure, they are ugly. But so are lot of other amps.

Now.....get back to the topic at hand.

While I appreciate your opinion, I have talked with others in the industry, both online and in person, who feel that they are solid amps. I need to put together a budget install for a friend. I have yet to find a multi channel amp That offers the power and precise crossover functions of the DCX800.5. for price that I can get it at. If you know of one that offers more for around $325.00 I would be very interested in checking it out as well. Thanks.

The DCX amps are good solid amps

they put out their rated power and then some more.
