Ronald Reagan tried that BS too and he called it "trickle down economics". It failed miserably, atleast for everyone other than the rich. His tax cuts were so messed up that he was borrowing money from Social Security for the "everyday" operation of our gov't. The fact is that these people who get the tax cuts do not run out and spend it, or atleast not fast enough for it to make ANY difference on the economy. I'm not stupid, I know what that plan was SUPPOSED to do. But it's clear that is NOT working and they need to start paying their "FAIR SHARE" of taxes once again. And when the dems take back the white house that will be the first order of business.

Thats precisely the point. A "stupid war" is most of this. A stupid war that HE started. HE wanted it. HE won't get the troops the fuck out of there. HE is the very cause of the record deficit. There is no other way to explain it. HE is the one at fault for it. HE is also the one that gave the tax breaks to the rich and put us even further into debt.
