yea turns out my USamps connection invented a wireless version of "Air Ride" like 4 years ago and they want me to sell this thing. thing is, i have NO idea about anything about hydraulics... all i know is that this thing can make cars jump up and down and rise and lower in all diffferent funky directions with a remote control, without that giant switch box. i got pix if you want, but can someone learn me about this subject?

All I know about hydraulics is that it is an incredibly expensive way to destroy the underside of your car for no good reason (referring to the ones that do the jumping competitions and such)

Good luck with your new enterprise, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

x2, plus a s**tload of mess.

Air ride has nothing to do with hydraulics. There is no mess of hydraulic fluid to deal with in an air suspension system. The wireless system you're talking about just eliminates wiring from the trunk to the passenger compartment. A simple design. I prefer hydraulics over air bags anyday though. I can deal with the maintenence; nothing beats rolling around with juice in my ride.

No way man
I'm not gonna get into an argument about which system is better air/hydro. God knows I've had many and I mean MANY of those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Being the traditional lowrider that I have been for God knows how many years hydraulics is my personal preference and personally I could not have it any other way. I consider myself very knowledgable in installations, with welding and wiring and my personal cars have been trouble free. My daily driver is a Buick Roadmaster, 13" chrome daytons and 2 prohopper pumps with 8 batteries in the trunk. I also have a Regal (for sale) fully reinforced also with a 2 pump setup that take out to the meetings shows once in a while. I acutally am not against air as that's what I'd put if I had a full size truck or full size late model sedan.

I'll take air myself.... Lets see them pics flakko
the remote is actually pretty small... liek the size of my digicam around 5" long

if you want any more in depth pictures lmk...

i guess there are 2 butons next to the toggle sticks that can make teh car jump all the way up, or go all the way down.

okay....ive always wondered something... what is the difference in ride quality from a haydraulic vs. Air ride Point of view? I would have figured hydraulics would ride like an ***, but im not sure how it works...
In my opinion, and I'm speaking from experience because I've done many installations of both, if you you've enjoyed your smooth factory suspension than neither are for you. In both cases the suspension becomes stiffer. However the hydraulic fluid adds a more cushioned bounce feel, whereas air systems allow you to feel bumps and such in the road. I personally call this the dampening factor. A lot of other things come into play especially with hydraulics. You'll have that smooth point when you lock your cylinders up to about a stock height, not to mention adding inline accumulators and better rear shocks. Most lowriders are rear wheel drive cars with short/long arm suspension so the front shocks are always removed for placement of the cylinders. With bags it depends on the bag itself what kind of gas you're using in the system etc. What I'm trying to point out is that they'll both never be as smooth as factory (or what you thought was smooth), but there are ways to make both types a little more comfortable.
