Hail to the King Baby!!!!
Last month when I was pullin out the batt, the positve lead hit the chassis of the the car and it wouldnt start. I was in a rush, and figured i blew a fuse somewhere, so I let it go. Turns out, it wasnt a fuse. They are all fine. The car starts to turn over, then stops. Its not low voltage, and I dont think its the fuel or spark.

I sprayed starting fluid directly into the TB, and it did nothing. I am getting spark at the coil pack, I got the shock to prove it. After talking to a couple people, they belive I fried the cars computer. Can anyone else think of what it can be before I drop 70 on a new one?

Its a 91 s10 blazer as well 4.3l v6

Im getting spark from the coil pack to the cap. But Im not getting any spark from the cap itself. I just bought a new rotor and cap, and will be waking up at 6 am tomorrow to get it in.

I have to get the car running, register it, and start to build the sh!t out of my wall.

One crazy day for sure. If anyone has any other ideas ideas as to why its not starting, please let me know.

Welp for the update, nothing happend. Its off to a mechanic, then I have to have it towed to mannys shop to get it ready for SBN. I leave for school tomorrow and come back a few days before, so hopefully everything works out.

Check your ECM. I had an 88 S-10 and did the same thing. It is the little 4 pin (IIRC) module in the bottom of the distributor. Autozone will test it for free for you. They run about 30-40 bucks.

Well its out of my hands now. Its too late, so we are having a family friend thats a mechanic fixing it.

I thought it might be the ecm after looking for a solution for hours on the internet, but I just ran out of time.

Cool, Hope they find it quickly for you. Just wanted to give you an idea of what I thought it might be. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
