anyone know about these subs?

for $60 you can do better - PA isnt BAD per-se, amps are way better than subs, and their FU series offers some good SPL - but id never run their subs.

$60 aint bad, but you can get a cheap pair of 8's for way less that would be equal quality to those entry level subs.

It's not $60, for a pair it'd be $53 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Anyways, I have no experience with them. Never really been impressed with much from PA. However, if you wanna go for it, you aren't out much money if you aren't happy with them...and you got some subs for hella-cheap if you are happy with them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Kind of a no-lose situation unless you are absolutely broke.

im losing my mind going 900 directions trying to choose subs. this is getting retarded now. im looking at a 70/30 sq/spl setup. i was gonna do 1 15" sealed, but now im wondering about its ability leave a small or no gap freq response to the 4 6.5"speakers i will be running for interiors. so im considering 2 10's now.

What highpass point are you going to use for your 6.5's?

Don't think a 15" can't play high simply because of it's size, or that 10's will inherently be able to play higher than the 15.

i know you are right in what you are saying, maybe i just need to pick the right 15". my choices were between a tempest (but i dont really wanna wait.) the atlas15, the 16kv2, the diamond cm315", the type R 15", and the old w6 15".

i will be cutting off the 6.5's between 75-90 but that will be subjective to blending the freq seams with the RTA.
